A Sweet Anna Griffin and Gorjuss Girl Valentine Day Card!

Here is a special card made especially for my granddaughter! I combined a card made from my Anna Griffin Window Frame Card Making Kit and a Gorjuss Girl, cut from a metal die. I love mixing and matching my paper doll clothes made from my dies and rubber stamps.
Thought I’d also make her a pretty stitched heart wand too.

Halloween Mini Album, With Matilda & Godfrey!

Happy Halloween 2018, Everyone! I thought I’d share a cute little Folio/Mini Album with you. I happen to have a collection leftover from last year that I thought was so cute, Photoplay’s Matilda & Godfrey. The inspiration for the design of the Folio came from Ginger, My Sisters Scrapper on You Tube. She did a tutorial called, Simple Stories, Welcome Spring File Folder Project. A great little project and perfect for beginners! The shaker frame on the front of my album was inspired by Brigitte, from shoeprincess1 on You Tube. I loved the way she used card stock to build her shaker frame, that’s right, no foam tape! The end result is clean, polished and very sturdy! Anyway, I hope you’ll check out both of these ladies on You Tube, they are wonderful teachers!

This holds quite a few pictures and spaces for journaling, with all of its flip pages!

Loving My New Prima Planner!

Hi Everyone! I'm super excited to share my first Design Team Project for Pages In Time Scrapbooking/Mixed Media Store! If you haven't seen the Planner's from Prima Marketing, they are gorgeous. There are four Planners to choose from and so many accessories...Prima has really taken the Planner craze to a whole new level. I'm happy to say that they are available at Pages In Time Scrapbooking/Mixed Media Store. Please stop by the store's Facebook page and either message Karen or give her a call to place an order.

I had so much fun decorating my planner, designed by Frank Garcia. I used Prima's Mint Pom Pom, a Hello Weekend Shaker, Champagne Hole Reinforcers, Julie Nutting Doll Die & Stamps (Valentina), as well as misc. Prima and Sizzix Dies. To stay organized inside I used Prima's Planner List Pads, Sticky Notes and Prima Clear Stamps. I'm only keeping 3-6 month's in my planner at a time to allow for decorating and art journal pages. Seriously, I never thought I'd have any use for a planner, strictly because I'm no longer able to work but I've always been a person who writes notes constantly and am passionate about art. I'm now convinced I will use my planner and possibly even do some journaling...something I've always wanted to do. The plan is to change my Dashboard layout every month...how fun, right? Hope you'll give this a try!

I'm so glad you stopped by...would love to have you leave a message!
Enjoy creating something special for yourself!
Hugs!

Floral and Burlap Christmas Canvas!

If you're like me you've been collecting beautiful Prima Flowers for as long as Prima has been making flowers. I truly love them and knew I wanted to make them the focal point of my Christmas canvas. Looking through my stash I also discovered some old Christmas floral picks and candle rings and decided to cut them apart to use as filler. Wanting to put a whimsical modern spin into my arrangement, I decided to die cut leaves out of burlap. I began by preparing my canvas with gesso and stenciling some snowflakes. I then painted over everything with Art Alchemy Paints, Prima Bloom Sprays and Glass Glitter. I enjoyed the process and really liked the results! It felt great using up some of my stash too! I hope you'll give this a try!
I pray that 2017 will be a wonderful year full of love, happiness, success and good health!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by and please leave me a message!
Have a Happy New Year & God Bless!

Mixed Media Christmas Canvas

Happy Holidays! I can't believe there's only 2 days until Christmas, where does the time go? Hubby and I are grateful to spend a few days with each of our 4 girls. My mom is also here from Colorado, she has Alzheimer's which makes each visit very precious. I hope and pray that each of you will spend time with your loved ones making new memories!

I wanted to share a Christmas Canvas I made, inspired by Adrienne Ford's, Live With Prima Class! I couldn't wait to make a canvas using some of Adrienne's techniques as well as techniques I'd learned in Finnabair's class! As you can see it's packed with all kinds of Prima goodies! I love Prima Products designed by Finnabair! She is such a fabulous artist and teacher! Hope you'll check out Adrienne's video and enjoy making your own canvas!

Thanks so much for visiting! As always if you have comments or questions, feel free to leave a message!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!

Pretty Little Flip Card!

Hi Everyone! I couldn't wait to show you this little flip card I made with my Anna Griffin Dies from her Flip Card Kit. The kit comes with tons of beautiful cardstock and embellishments! After making several cards I decided to use some Graphic 45 paper I had on hand. I thought if would be fun to also make some matching flowers by using a couple sizes of punches. WARNING...they are addicting!!! I always love the idea of using up some of my paper pads and this was the perfect project for that! Hope you'll give this a try!

I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to leave a comment!
Have a wonderful weekend!

A Happy Birthday "Gorgeous Girl" Easel Card!

Hi Everyone! I couldn't resist, I had to share a second Gorjuss Girl Easel Card with you! There's just something about playing with paper dolls no matter how old we get, isn't there? I'm definitely not an expert with my Copic Markers but I sure do enjoy playing with them. These little cards are a perfect way to use up those 6x6 paper pads we all have sitting around and the prints are just the right size for paper piecing and layering. I hope you'll give it a try!

I'm always so thankful for each of you! As always, I'd love to hear from you!
