Loving My New Prima Planner!

Hi Everyone! I'm super excited to share my first Design Team Project for Pages In Time Scrapbooking/Mixed Media Store! If you haven't seen the Planner's from Prima Marketing, they are gorgeous. There are four Planners to choose from and so many accessories...Prima has really taken the Planner craze to a whole new level. I'm happy to say that they are available at Pages In Time Scrapbooking/Mixed Media Store. Please stop by the store's Facebook page and either message Karen or give her a call to place an order.

I had so much fun decorating my planner, designed by Frank Garcia. I used Prima's Mint Pom Pom, a Hello Weekend Shaker, Champagne Hole Reinforcers, Julie Nutting Doll Die & Stamps (Valentina), as well as misc. Prima and Sizzix Dies. To stay organized inside I used Prima's Planner List Pads, Sticky Notes and Prima Clear Stamps. I'm only keeping 3-6 month's in my planner at a time to allow for decorating and art journal pages. Seriously, I never thought I'd have any use for a planner, strictly because I'm no longer able to work but I've always been a person who writes notes constantly and am passionate about art. I'm now convinced I will use my planner and possibly even do some journaling...something I've always wanted to do. The plan is to change my Dashboard layout every month...how fun, right? Hope you'll give this a try!

I'm so glad you stopped by...would love to have you leave a message!
Enjoy creating something special for yourself!
Hugs!

Floral and Burlap Christmas Canvas!

If you're like me you've been collecting beautiful Prima Flowers for as long as Prima has been making flowers. I truly love them and knew I wanted to make them the focal point of my Christmas canvas. Looking through my stash I also discovered some old Christmas floral picks and candle rings and decided to cut them apart to use as filler. Wanting to put a whimsical modern spin into my arrangement, I decided to die cut leaves out of burlap. I began by preparing my canvas with gesso and stenciling some snowflakes. I then painted over everything with Art Alchemy Paints, Prima Bloom Sprays and Glass Glitter. I enjoyed the process and really liked the results! It felt great using up some of my stash too! I hope you'll give this a try!
I pray that 2017 will be a wonderful year full of love, happiness, success and good health!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by and please leave me a message!
Have a Happy New Year & God Bless!
